To say we’re excited to blog this beautiful wedding is an understatement. What a way to kick off the season! Cassidy and Andy had a beautiful wedding day at Hayloft on the Arch. It was filled with bright flowers, some of our favorite vendors, and the best people. Cassidy looked amazing in her Hayley Paige dress from Angela’s Bridal. Steven Schultz is responsible for these incredible photos, and captured the wedding day (and our flowers) perfectly! And of course, our girl Holly Winnie made the most amazing seating board on acrylic and we obviously died over it! Take a look below at some of our favorite photos of the day!
With wedding season quite literally just around the corner, we figured we would round up some of our all time favorite wedding venues in Upstate New York! Your wedding venue is what sets the stage for your entire day. Whether you’ve always dreamed of an outdoor garden wedding, a modern industrial vibe, or classic romance, we’ve got you covered with our top picks!
First up, the ever so beautiful Audrey’s Farmhouse. Located in Wallkill, NY, this venue is just everything. It has this beautiful organic feel, with three options on the property to have your event- the Greenhouse, the Barn, and their outdoor space. It’s all beautiful and so versatile.

2. Foxfire Mountain House
Our next fav is Foxfire Mountain House. This Hudson Valley gem runs along a similar vein as Audrey’s Farmhouse. It’s got that organic feel that we love and adore, and has an option to have an intimate wedding in the main house or outside. They have these amazing details such as their Moroccan tile patio and little glass house. Another great thing about this Hudson Valley wedding venue is that your guests can stay there! No need to find lodging for them when it is right on the property.

3. Carey Institute for Global Good
Carey Institute for Global Good is another favorite Upstate New York wedding venue of ours. It’s got a classic feel with its beautiful historical building. You can get married outside as well, just like our beautiful O&J couple, with their beautiful arbor, in the photos below (shot by Joe Vogel!).

4. Cedar Lake Estates
Next up is the STUNNING Cedar Lakes Estate . We love this New York wedding venue. With multiple options for ceremony and reception (indoor and outdoor!), lodging for your guests, and seriously beautiful scenery, this wedding venue truly has it all.

5. Roundhouse Beacon
Roundhouse in Beacon, NY is another favorite wedding venue of ours. It’s industrial with clean lines and makes for a very versatile space. What we love the most are those windows!! Natural light is the best when it comes to any wedding venue and Roundhouse takes the cake.

6. Senate Garage
The Senate Garage in Kingston, NY is another one of those unique and beautiful wedding venues that we can’t get enough of. The historic outside property makes for a romantic vibe, with the brick house as a ceremony backdrop and the pretty blooms to add some whimsy. The indoor reception space is industrial with all the charm you could want.
7. Lucas Confectionary
Another favorite Upstate New York wedding venue of ours is a Troy staple- Lucas Confectionary. This is the perfect venue for a more intimate wedding with a smaller guest count. The garden area serves as your ceremony space and can be flipped into your reception space. Not to mention how delicious their menu is!
8. M & D Farm
Another local venue to us right in Westerlo, NY is M&D Farm. This is the epitome of garden weddings. You feel like you’ve just walked into the English countryside at this beautiful wedding venue. With the all the gardens around, and the attention to detail, this venue is a dream.
9. Onteora Mountain House
Next up on our list is Onteora Mountain House. This is the perfect venue for those outdoorsy, mountain vibes. Your guests can enjoy the stunning views with the option of an outdoor ceremony, as well as the large wrap around porch right outside the reception space. We love this venue for the couples who want a nature inspired wedding day! Not to mention it’s only 15 minutes from the cute town of Woodstock!
10. Brick & Ivy
Last up on our top 10 wedding venue list is the up and coming Brick & Ivy in Utica, NY. We are SO excited for this venue. It is the perfect all white blank canvas you could dream of. You can do SO many different things in here. Check out the Instagram for updated and sneak peak photos! We can’t wait for what’s to come!
Ahhhh, the Yamin Wedding.
October 14th, 2019.
What. A. Day.
It was filled with flowers, and filled with love!!!
The color pallet for this wedding held at the Canfield Casino in Saratoga Springs, NY, was super earthy. We had cream, toffee, brown, dusty “muddy” colors and lots of texture.
For the ceremony, we did a meadow aisle, which ended with an asymmetrical arbor at the end of the aisle, for the two lovebirds to stand in front of. This meadow aisle was repurposed on the stage during the reception, and the arbor moved to the entrance of the ballroom (the BEST part about installations!).
The bouquets for Rosa and her bridesmaids, as well as the boutonnières for Ryan and his guys, had a lot of texture to them, and kept within that earthy organic feel.
For the centerpieces, we alternated brass candle sticks with tapered candles and greenery, with candlesticks and compote arrangements.
The head table was a showstopper, with a grey runner all the way down, filled with candles, arrangements of many sizes and types, and fruit to stay within that earthy vibe.
Every single person danced the night away (don’t worry, there’s picture proof of the both of us), and we literally all had the time of our lives.
Take a browse of some of our favorite photos of the floral moments below, shot by our talented friend Catherine Coons (who we LOVE SO MUCH) and take in all that beauty.
Teaming up with an all girl squad full of women in business is always a joy.
It was so fun to have free reign to design the florals for Lee-Ann Belter’s newest bridal collection. The editorial was shot by our girl Cassandra Daye, makeup by the always fabulous Color Me Gorgeous, hair by Ashley Smith, and serious modeling by Lulu Lovering.
We shot in the beautiful, historic Windrift Hall in the Hudson Valley. Every single corner was a dreammmmm. We are still VERY obsessed (brides, it’s a wedding venue!!!! Call them & then call us!!!)
We did a few installations throughout the house and the result was breathtaking. Every picture so romantic.
What we love most about these installations is that they can all be translated to real weddings! Talk about dreamy (we’re using that word a lot these days).
Anyway, take a browse below and see all this dreaminess we’re talking about!!
When I moved to the Capital Region just a couple of months ago I knew that Fort Orange General Store was a place that I wanted to spend time at and partner with. I was so excited to teach this workshop, my first of many in this space! Thank you so much to all the amazing women who came out to make crowns and eat good food. I had the best time with you! The beautiful lettering you see is courtesy of Holly Winnie Calligraphy. Enjoy these photos by Joe Vogel Photography and I hope to see you at my next workshop! Xx, Cassie
I remember meeting Allison and her mom at Tea Bar for our first bridal consult and thinking "dang, this lady is in love!" Allison has a ear-to-ear grin that lights up a room and I know Matt feels insanely lucky to have made her his bride. My team and I loved every detail of this wedding from the donuts to the floor length bridesmaid dresses, and of course the floral details. We installed a garland from a pipe 10 feet in the air (shout out to Jamie & Becky for being brave) & every lady had a flower crown. Silver dollar eucalyptus lined each table and lush garden roses were on display in the bouquets. Thanks again, Matt & Allison, for letting us bring some love to your day and thank you Lauren Parker Photography for these stunning photos! Xx, Cassie
I don't know what has taken me so long to share this gorgeous wedding! I met Elle through a mutual friend and Instagram. We planned her wedding florals via e-mail and I was so excited to have a bride who said "here are my colors, I trust you!". Elle's bridal bouquet has a gorgeous king protea front and center that I couldn't wait for her to see when I delivered her bouquets. Our team strung hundreds of white carnations to design the ethereal arbor that Danielle and Christian said their vows under. I can't thank Alex Lasota Photography enough for these images! Thank you for letting me be a part of your day, Albrechts! Xx, Cassie
